英國帽子設計師Stephen Jones

出生於美國康乃迪州的 Stephen Jones 早期畢業於HighWycombe School of Art，而後進入了有“時尚設計的搖籃”之稱的London's St Martin's School of Art的服裝設計系。當時 Stephen Jones 在 Couturier Lachasse 工作實習時，因為不擅長縫紉而被分配到帽飾部工作。

Damien Hirst與死亡藝術

好吧，其實我只是從來沒想過會把這種東西帶回家裡，所以有感而發。

這是我今天上米蘭每月一次的運河市集時，買的第一樣東西-被凍在acrylic中的昆蟲。

所以聯想到了英國藝術家Damien Hirst的作品「some comfort gained from the acceptance of the inherent lies in everything」。他生於1965年，在1995年獲得英國當代藝術特納獎，對90年代英國藝術有著重大的影響。

作品裡面帶著強烈的死亡色彩（廢話！都把屍體擺出來了！！），討論肉體與精神之間的關係。

嗯...其實看久了我有點不舒服。

不過既然說到他，就推薦大家看一部老電影「入侵腦細胞」＝「The Cell」。裡面借了很多藝術家的作品來詮釋一種詭異又華麗的變態！Damien Hirst就是其中之一。而已經看過的人或許可以看看這一篇針對The Cell的藝評，或許會激起看第二次的慾望。

Lucas Chimello Simoes是1980年出生，來自巴西聖保羅的藝術家。從他的作品和自述可以完全明白他的創作理念。他的作品藉由攝影及修剪，加上層層疊疊的黏貼，有些甚至可以高達13層。
「Lucas Chimello Simoes was born in 1980 in Catanduva Sao Paulo where he resides today. Lucas creates unbelievable photographic cut-outs and collages by cutting out and layering many images of the same photograph some of them consisting up to thirteen layers.」

「我想要跟這個世界說，我們都是自由的。那就是為什麼我的作品都是抽象的。我不想要被真實的框架監禁，而藝術創作是我逃離這個世界的方式。因為在真實的世界裡我們都是不自由的。我們都知道我們在真實的世界裡是不可能會自由的。當我坐在我的油畫布前面時，我是在旅行。我不想要任何人來評論我的作品，我想要他們作的是去感受我的作品。我不想要文字去傳達，我想要面對，想要行動。我想要去感覺人們的溫度，因為現在能看到有溫暖的心的人已經是很少見的事情。或許是因為他們害怕著什麼吧！但我想要的是，沒有懼怕、沒有諷刺、沒有監禁，只有去愛、去笑、去活的自由。那就是我所想要表達的。」

「What I want to show to the world is that we all are free. That's why my work is abstract - I don't want to be imprisoned by real forms. Painting is my escape from the real world. The real isn't free. All of us know that it's almost impossible to be free in the real world. When I sit in fromt of a canvas of mine I really "travel". I don't want anyone to judge my work. I want people to feel my work. I don't want words to express things; I want faces; I want acts. I want to feel how hot people are because it's not normal at all to see people with warm hearts nowadays - maybe because they fear something. I want no fear, no sarcasms, no prison, only freedom to love, to laugh, to live... That's what I mean.」
